CRPF provides free medical aid to Amarnath pilgrims
Srinagar: Paramilitary CRPF on Wednesday said that it has set up free medical camps, including Cardiac Care Unit and mobile medical camps for Amaranth yatris on Baltal and the Chandanwari routes.
CRPF’s Srinagar based PRO in a statement said: “Establishment of Special Cardiac Care Unit at Baltal has been introduced in this year .Various high end equipments like, Nebuliser,Laryngo scope, Ambu bag, ET Tube, CPR Mask, defibrillator, patient monitoring system, suction system , advanced oxygen concentrators, emergency drugs etc have been kept available at the CRPF Cardiac Care Unit.”
“Expert team of doctors from CRPF under supervision of P K Pandey, DIG/north are working for 24X7,” he said. All medical camps are functioning successfully since the yatra commenced, the PRO added.
