Farmers’ tour flagged off
Budgam, July 11: Under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Programme, a group of 163 progressive farmers from three blocks of Beerwah Budgam were send on a study tour. Dr M. Shafi, MLA Bearwah flagged off the group today at Narbal. The farmers on tour shall visit to Fish Farm Narbal, Sericulture Farm Mirgund, Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Kreshi Vikas Kendra, K.D. Farm (Maize), Sheep Husbandry Farm Kral Pathri, Agriculture Seed Farm Harran and other places.
On this occasion, MLA Beerwah said the government is very much committed for uplift of Farming Community. Visit of farmers shall not only boost their morale but shall also provide them opportunity to interact with fellow farmers and Agriculture scientists.
