Just introspect
Mr Syed Ali Safvi has made very good observation about the unnecessary hue and cry that was raised over the speech of Iran representative's visit to Kashmir (Envoy Speaks). Our leaders ought to accept the fact that we have failed ourselves first and foremost as far as drawing attention of the world community towards Kashmir issue is concerned before we put blame at the door of those we expect to be our sympathisers and cohorts. We need to have our own house in order first to elicit a response from our neighbours and from powers that matter. Sadly, history tells us that's a distant possibility. That some leaders were manhandled by commoners in the wake of the mysterious fire in Dastgeer Sahab Shrine is testimony enough that they have lost the respect and say or that people have lost hope in them. This article must make them to introspect and help wake up from the slumber of personal interests.
