Varsity cautions public
Srinagar, July 11: In the wake of surfacing of fake appointment issue, the Kashmir University Wednesday urged the general public to beware of cheaters. “It is found desirable to inform the general public particularly the unemployed youth that there is a blanket ban on all casual engagements in the University since June 2011. As such not a single appointment on casual basis has been made by the University of Kashmir during the last one year and there are no such intentions in future too. The University shall not be responsible for any kind of damages incurred or any inconveniences caused thereof in this regard. The youth are required to instead apply through proper channel only after any advertisement, notice or circular is displayed on our website or published in the local press,” a KU spokesman said in a statement.
