Water scarcity hits Naik Bagh
Srinagar, July 11: Residents of Shah-e-Hamdan Colony, Naik Bagh in Nowgam area of south City have complained of acute scarcity of potable water.
A group of locals told Greater Kashmir, that the area is not getting any drinking water supply for the past one week putting the residents to terrible inconvenience. “Our taps are running dry for the past week and we don’t get water even to drink not to talk of other purposes,” lamented the locals.
They residents have urged the PHE authorities that in view of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, regular drinking water supply may be ensured to the area.
