Geelani trader of death, destruction: Dr Kamaal
‘He Has Only Grown By His Bank Balance’
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar July 15: Day after Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani alleged that National Conference founder late Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah was “power hunger,” the firebrand NC leader and Additional General Secretary of the party Dr Mustafa Kamaal hit back on Sunday saying, “Syed Ali Shah Geelani is as a traitor and a double agent.”
“A four time MLA who has been drawing pension and has been even on the payroll of ISI, should we consider him fit enough to talk about morality,” said Dr Kamaal in a statement.
“Whenever even a Pakistani clerk comes to India and summons this ex-Lawmaker, he rushes to Delhi to take dictation about how to ensure that uncertainty prevails in the state” said Kamaal “Like the one he masterminded in 2010 by killing innocent people” he added.
Dr Kamaal said Geelani has all along tried to “ignite and incite people by hollow slogans and destructive emotionalism” and “People now understand his duplicity and personal vendetta against late Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah and NC.”
“People haven’t forgotten how he has been the recipient of illegal munificence from sources inimical to Kashmir including the UK based Kashmiri expatriate,” said Dr Kamaal.
He said that if Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah was power hungry he wouldn’t have spent 24 yrs in Jail. “Sheikh Abdullah never compromised on his principles while as Geelani as a MUF MLA along with his associates and 18 councilors preferred the luxuries of the government but never thought of the people? “Why didn’t they resign then” asked Dr Kamaal.
Without naming any party Dr Kamaal said, “Supporting people in the election who were responsible for the massacres of innocent civilians at Gawkadal who were mourning the death of Mirwaiz Moulvi Farooq proves where his loyalties lie and he has the nerve to blame Sheikh Abdullah,” said Dr Kamaal
“From a small hut near Wullar to a small little house in Sopore to a palatial building in posh Hyderpora this leader has only grown by his bank balance” said Dr Kamaal adding “Now this ex-legislator has the audacity to don the mantle of a messiah,” said Dr Kamaal.
The Additional General Secretary said that the rights of the people of JK have been protected by the instrument of accession which clearly mentions that nothing in the instrument shall be deemed to commit me in any way to acceptance of any future constitution of India or to fetter my discretion to enter into arrangements with the Government of India under any such future Constitution.
“These opportunistic leaders like Geelani have all along come in different faces to weaken NC and state’s special status, If these leaders had their way they would have abrogated the article 370 long back” he added
Kamaal reiterated Omar Abdullah’s challenge to him of raising the issue of non-state subjects continuously being settled by Pakistan in PaK on regular basis.
“Kashmiri Pandits are our part and parcel of the state and we will not sit till we don’t ensure that they are returned back to their homeland with dignity” said Kamaal adding “People like Geelani have all along tried to dilute and weaken the concept of Kashmiriyat” he added.
