J&K Football team hailed
The Nigeen Lakes Conservation Organisation (NLCO) has hailed J&K football team for making it 2-0 against the Mohammedan Sporting Club Kolkatta on Tuesday.
“Critics had predicted that today would be Mohammedan Sporting Club’s day but all praises to our boys who stood like a rock, kept their nerves calm and gave us the victory and made yet an another unforgettable history,” said NLCO chairman Manzoor Wangnoo.
“Zidane Zidane-esque touches of Ishfaq proved his ability once again. Goalkeeper Vikramjeet Singh saves were superb. Kudoos to coach for his strategy. This victory was a reminder of the talent our footballers boost. A reminder to sports council and the organisers, who unfortunately lack all basic infrastructure. Mehrajudin Wadoo's performance in midfield was apt,” he added.
