Dooru bus terminal non-functional

Dooru: Inordinate delay in commissioning of a bus terminal here is causing immense problems to the passengers here.
Locals said the bus stop located in the main market here came up many years ago.
“Though it was even registered but it has not been made operational due to unknown reasons. The passengers face  inconvenience in absence of a proper bus terminal as they are forced to board vehicles on the roadside which poses risk to their lives and causes traffic jams,” said Mohsin Gul, a higher secondary lecturer.
“In absence of a bus terminal, the area witnesses heavy traffic jams as the road also leads to famous tourist destination of Verinag,” said another resident, Mashook Ahmad.
The residents appealed the District Development Commissioner, Islamabad to make the bus terminal operational without any further delay.
