Farmers sent on study tour
Budgam, July 19: Under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Programme, a group of 70 progressive farmers from block Khan Sahab, Budgam was today sent on a study tour.
The farmers will visit Fish Farm Narbal, Sericulture Farm Mirgund, Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Kreshi Vikas Kendra, K.D. Farm (Maize), Sheep Husbandry Farm Kral Pathri, Agriculture Seed Farm Harran and other places. Chief Agriculture Officer, Budgam M A Parray said that the Department of Agriculture is going to organize more such educational tours for the farmers.
