Mufti Nasir concerned
Srinagar: The Mufti Azam of Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, on Thursday expressed serious concern over the Tral incident terming it as intolerable.
In a statement today, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam asked the government to honour the peoples’ sentiments and ensure proper security arrangements for the shrines.
“The Khanyar tragedy and desecration of places of worships and religious symbols had created the atmosphere of unrest in the entire Valley. I demand an immediate end to such incidents,” he said. However he did not rule out the hand of agencies “in these vile acts.”
