Reconsider SRO-123 implementation: Private schools to government

Srinagar, July 20: The Private School Association, district Kupwara, at a meeting held at Town Hall, Kupwara, discussed at length the SRO-123, government order against Iqra Public High School, Khamiryal, and delay in the settlement of extension cases of schools by the education department.
 The meeting was attended by the heads of all the private schools of district. The members urged the government to desist from pursuing anti-private school policy. They termed the implementation of SRO-123 by August 18, as an unjust step.
 The meeting appealed to the government to reconsider the implementation of SRO-123, withdraw government order issued against Iqra Public School, Khimaryal, and settle all extension cases.
