Science Quiz held at Bandipora
Srinagar, July 20: Kashmir Environmental and Social Organization working for the promotion of science, environment and social issues organized a quiz, “Science and Technology” in continuation with its science awareness programme 2012 Friday at the High School Bagh Bandipora hall in north Kashmir.
Students from many schools participated in the competition. The students were quizzed about the science, technology and other issues related to the science. There were three students in each group. The quiz was spread over six rounds,” a handout said. Head Master High School acted as observer of the session. Zahoor Ahmad Wani vice-chairman of the organization presented the introductory note while Ifthikar Rashid Wani was the quiz Master and Parvaiz acted as score analyst.
At the end the Govt Girls Hr. Sec. School Bandipora emerged as winners while as Boys High School Bagh Bandipora claimed second position and were awarded with winning trophy presented by the Headmaster of the hosting School.
