“Reform of the planning process is crucial in the context of re-energized gross root level institutions”, the CM, sources said, told the PCI adding that a State Planning Board on the pattern of the Planning Commission is being set up before December to orient the planning process to rising public expectations.
The constitution of the Board was approved by the State Cabinet in April this year. The constitution of the Board was strongly recommended by the State Finance Commission.
