Women’s college hosts anti-drug campaign

Srinagar, July 21: The NSS wing of the Government College for Women M A Road in association with Civil Society Forum Kashmir (CSFK) organized an “Anti-Drug Abuse” campaign in the college campus.
Former Government Medical College Principal, Dr G Q Allaqaband, College principal, Prof Tanveer Ara, renowned pediatrician Dr Altaf Hussain, Oncologist Dr Shad Saleem, SP Traffic Srinagar, Haseeb-ur-Rehman and Psychiatrist, Dr Arshad Hussain and CSFK Chairman, Umar Shafi Tramboo were present on the occasion.
The speakers urged the people particularly the youth to stay away from the menace.
Meanwhile, the NSS in collaboration with Civil Defense Srinagar organized a training programme on disaster awareness and its control at the slum area of Sathu Barbarshah.
