Ramadan will usher era of lasting peace: Lt Gen Parnaik

Jammu, July 22: Greeting the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of beginning of Ramadan, Northern Commander Chief, Lt Gen K T Parnaik, today hoped the holy month of Ramadan.
 “I hope that the holy month of Ramadan will usher an era of lasting peace resulting in prosperity and progress in the state," he said in a message to the people of the state.
  On behalf of all ranks and on his own behalf, GOC-in-C Northern Command, Lt Gen K T Parnaik extended warm greetings to the people of J&K and assured them that the Army stood by the people.
