JKLF To Organise Seminar On August 5
Srinagar, July 24: Expressing serious concern over the gutting of a Masjid at Ohanagam, Beeru, in district Budgam, the chairman of Jammu Kashmir Muhammad Yasin Malik Tuesday said “some invisible hands are behind these mysterious fire incidents.”
“Our Masjids and shrines are dear to us than our life and property. We cannot tolerate desecration of or attack on these places of worship,” said Malik while addressing a protest rally at Ohangam today.
He said that “we all need to exercise utmost restraint and maintain unity among ourselves at this juncture to foil the evil designs of our enemy who wants to drive wedge in our unity by taking recourse of such vile acts.”
“Let the heads of all religious groups, civil society members, political leaders, Ulema and intellectuals rise to occasion and come forward to launch a sustain campaign to expose and fight the elements who want to divide the Muslims in the name of maslaks,” said Malik, announcing that the Front will organise a seminar on August 5, Sunday, in which the heads of the heads of all religious groups, political leaders and civil society members would be invited to work out a joint strategy “to foil the conspiracy under which such vile acts are carried out.”
