Saghar condemns Mushtaq’s re-arrest
Islamabad, July 24: The convener of Hurriyat Conference (M) Pakistan Chapter, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, has condemned the re-arrest of the chairman of Muslim League Mushtaq-ul-Islam.
“Booking Mushtaq under Public Safety Act is violation of basic human rights,” Saghar said in a statement.
He urged the world human rights organizations take stock of the human rights situation in Kashmir and ask New Delhi to release political detainees who have been languishing in jails in and outside Kashmir over the years.
