Jehlum Reds beat SKCC by 6 runs

Srinagar, July 27: In the ongoing Fazil Kanth Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament, Jehlum Reds defeated SKCC by six runs at Islamia College ground here on Friday.
Batting first, Jehlum Reds got all-out for 99 runs in 19 overs. Asif Rasheed with 18 runs was highest scorer for them while as Suhail and Ashiq took three wickets each for SKCC.
In reply, SKCC managed to score only 93 runs in allotted overs for the loss of nine wickets. Suhail with 15 runs was highest scorer for them while as Javed Bhat took three wickets for Jehlum Reds.
Earlier on Thursday two matches were played. In the first match, Shivpora-XI defeated Eagle Cricket Club by five wickets. Batting first, Eagle club scored 92 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 15 overs. Imran Hussain with 24 runs was highest scorer for them while as Bashir Wani took four wickets for Shivpora-XI.
In reply, Shivpora-XI, achieved the required target for the loss of five wickets. Nadeem Wani with 24 was highest scorer for them while as Imtiyaz Hussain took two wickets for Eagle Club.
In the second match, Golden Lake Club defeated Asaar Cricket Club by seven runs. Batting first, Golden Lake scored 177 runs in allotted overs for the loss of six wickets. Abid with 56 runs was highest scorer for them while as Ahsan took two wickets for Asaar Club. In reply, Asaar Club managed to score only 170 runs in allotted overs for the loss of nine wickets. Umer with 54 runs was highest scorer for them while as Rayees took four wickets for Golden Lake.
