Governor, Defence Minister review security situation

Srinagar, July 28: Defence Minister A K Antony had a wide ranging consultations with N N Vohra, Governor Jammu and Kashmir, on several important matters at a meeting held at Raj Bhavan here this evening.
During their hour long meeting, the Governor and the Defence Minister discussed various issues relating to internal and external security management, overall security situation in the State, and certain matters relating to the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
General Bikram Singh, Chief of the Army Staff; Shashi Kant Sharma, Defence Secretary; Lt Gen K T Parnaik, Northern Army Commander; and Subash Chandra, Joint Secretary (Army), Ministry of Defence, were present during the meeting.
