24 Asstt Vice-Presidents Promoted

Srinagar, July 2: J&K Bank today promoted 24 Assistant Vice Presidents to Vice-Presidential cadre, the entry point of the Bank’s prestigious leadership band.
The orders to this effect were issued today by Mushtaq Ahmad, Bank’s Chairman & CEO.
The promotion committee of the Bank headed by the Chairman, after analysing the performance of the officers in their respective key areas of responsibility and taking into account their leadership acumen and capacity to handle bigger and strategic roles, short-listed them out of 78 officers, who had been called for interview in April this year.
Commenting on the elevations the chairman said, “These elevations are in line with the Bank’s growth and expansion plans. The growth path that J&K Bank is treading upon and the targets of expansion and business that we have set for ourselves had to be supported by competent and capable human resource”.
“We are hopeful that these officers will handle their new roles, which of course are big and strategic, with great sense of responsibility and excellent leadership qualities”, he added.
The new Vice Presidents are Ghulam Muhammad Sadiq, Viqar-ul-Mulk Nazki, Ishtiyaq Fida, Arvind Gupta, Naqi Hussain, Ashok Kumar Pandita, Mohammed Sultan Kaboo, Rakesh Gandotra, Arun Gandotra, Ghulam Nabi Teli, Sunil Gupta, Rajni Saraf, Gurcharan Singh, Mukhtar Ahmad, Muhammed Maqbool Lone, Aftab Ahmad Qazi, Chetan Paljor, Muhammed Younis Patoo, Ashok Kumar Koul, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, Nazir Ahmad Bhat, Mohammed Ashraf Zargar, Ashraf Ali and Shafat Hussain.
