Contractor reacts to Beacon allegation

Srinagar, July 29:  A local contractor whom Beacon recently accused of creating hurdles last year in the Shalteng highway widening, has sharply reacted to the statement saying the agency was “trying to hide its misgivings by leveling blames on me.”
 “The fact is the Beacon people kept doing the work last summer but as their performance remained slow, they want to unnecessarily blame me,” the contractor said.
 He claimed of having documental proofs that Beacon was doing the work last summer.
