Shabir Shah, Nayeem, Mir, others arrested on way to Bandipora

Srinagar, July 29: Senior separatist leader and President Democratic Freedom Party, Shabir Ahmad Shah, alongwith many seperatist leaders were today arrested at Ajas village to prevent them from visiting Bandipora.
Shah along with separatist leaders including Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Javid Ahmad Mir, Zafar Akbar Bhat, Bitta Karatey, Yousuf Naqash, Shabir Ahmad Dar besides human rights activist, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo were stopped by police at Ajas wherefrom they were lodged at police station Sumbal.
The leaders were on way to Aloosa Bandipora to offer sympathies to the family of Hilal Ahmad Dar, allegedly killed by army in custody few days ago.
During past four days, most of the separatist leaders were prevented by authorities from visiting Bandipora by keeping them under house arrest.
After the leaders were today allowed to move out of their houses, they decided to proceed to Bandipora.
