10 injured in road mishaps
Jammu, July 30: Atleast ten persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Jammu, police said.
They said that atleast seven persons were injured in a head on collision between two cars coming from opposite direction on Jammu-Akhnoor highway late last night near Paloura. All the injured were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital by police and their condition was said to be out of danger.
The victims have been identified as Rahat Gupta son of Sushil Gupta resident of Canal Road, Krishan Lal son of Mela Ram resident of Canal Road, Sunil wife of PM Gupta resident of Kathua, Dr. Brij Dutt son of Vidya Dhar resident of Paloura, Harbans Lal son of Krishan Lal resident of Canal Road, Madu Gupta wife of Harbans Lal and Rakesh daughter of Jagdish Raj residents of Canal Road Jammu.
In yet another accident three motorcycle borne youth were injured when their motorcycle was hit by an unknown vehicle on Jammu-Pathankote Highway at Bari Brahmana area. All the injured were shifted to GMC and have been identified as Harry son of Satta resident of Paloura, Goldy son of late Badri Nath, resient of Bakshi Nagar Jammu and Anirudh son of Mahesh resident of Bakshi Nagar.
