Chib calls on Governor

Srinagar: Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports, R S Chib, called on Governor, N N Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here this evening, an official spokesman said.
 He said during their meeting, Chib briefed the Governor about various matters related to the functioning of hospitals and medical services which are associated with medical education in the State.
 Chib also discussed with the Governor the initiatives being taken for the promotion of sports and implementation of schemes aimed at the welfare of the youth.
 The Governor stressed the vital importance of ensuring the delivery of satisfactory medical and health care services to all the people of the State.
 Various other matters pertaining to the rapid socio-economic development of the state also came up for discussion during the meeting.
