Sagar announces Rs30 lakh for dev works

SRINAGAR, JULY 30: The Minister for Rural Development, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Sagar Monday announced release of Rs 30 lakh for development works even as he conducted an extensive tour of old City, to take stock of facilities.
 Sagar announced Rs 30 lakh out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for repair and renovation of lanes and drains at Budgeer Mohalla. He also directed the officers to install new electric poles so that electric supply of the area is augmented, an official handout said.
 The areas visited included Ali Kadal, Budgeer Mohalla, Buchh Mohalla, Rajouri Kadal, Roshanghar Mohalla, Arm Masjid, Khanyar and Babademb.
 While interacting with the people at different places, the Minister  urged upon them to understand the importance of peace for the sustained development and welfare of common man.
