SDA DRABU CRICKET TOURNAMENT
Srinagar, July 3: In the ongoing SDA Drabu T20 Cricket Tournament, two matches were played at TRC Ground here on Tuesday.
In the first match, Friends-XI Peerbagh defeated City Reds. Batting first, City Reds scored 154 for the loss of seven wickets in allotted overs. Imran with 41, Anees with 40 and Nadeem with 35 were highest scorers for them while as Lateef took four wickets for Peerbagh.
In reply, Friends-XI achieved required target for the loss of three wickets. Mehraj with 48, Aijaz with 47 and Manzoor with 31 were highest scorers for them.
In the second match, Dachnipora Bijbehara defeated FCC Hawal by seven runs. Batting first, Dachnipora scored 140 for the loss of seven wickets. Muhstaq with 27 and Shah Lal with 25 were highest scorers for them while Javed took two wickets for Hawal.
In reply, Hawal were able to score only 134 for the loss of eight wickets in allotted overs. Javed with 24 and Mukhtar with 23 were highest scorers for them. Ghulam Nabi and Muhammad Jamaal took two wickets each for Dachnipora.
