Srinagar Shah Jahans defeat Anantnag Angare
KASHMIR PREMIER LEAGUE
Srinagar, July 3: In the ongoing Kashmir Premier League (KPL), a match was played between Srinagar Shah Jahans and Anantnag Angare at Delhi Public School Sports Stadium here on Tuesday.
In the match Srinagar Shah Jahans defeated Anantnag Angare by six wickets. Batting first Anantnag Angare set a target of 90 runs in front of Srinagar Shah Jahans in 17.1 overs. Chasing the target Srinagar Shah Jahans scored 91 runs for the loss of four wickets in 15.1 overs. Amir Aziz of Srinagar Shah Jahans was declared the man of the match for taking three wickets.
The match was organized by 126 Inf Bn (TA) JAK RIF under the aegis of HQ 31 Sub Area.
SP West Srinagar, Dr Sunil Gupta, IPS was the chief guest and he emphasized on players of both the teams to play with discipline and dedication and show sports man spirit on and off the ground so that you become an example for the youth of the valley.
Colonel SS Pathania, SC, Commanding Officer of 126 Inf Bn (TA) JAK RIF while speaking at the post match presentation told the players of both the teams to make full use of this opportunity and make max friends and cherish this friendship throughout their lives.
