PDD failure

This refers to the various notifications issued by the Power Development Department with regard to submission of VLDS by the consumers by 9th July, 2012.  There seems no wisdom or justification for resorting to such a course of action when electronic meters stand installed at the residential houses/shops and other establishments. The PDD should either stick to the installed meters or alternatively they should removes the meters first and then ask the consumers to submit the VLDS forms. The PDD has spent huge amount on purchase of meters and by resorting to new action implies that meters have become defunct.
