Minor raped in Magam

Srinagar, July 5: A 6-yr old girl (name withheld) was raped in Maalmu village of Magam, Police said.
The 17 year old Sajad Ahmad Shah of Iskanderpora Beerua, who raped the girl on Saturday, has been arrested under Section 376 of RPC and FIR No 85 has been lodged in Police Station Magam.
“Sajad has an aunt married to the girl’s uncle and he has been coming very often to their house. The minor girl had been playing in the lap of the Sajad,” Police said.  “He then took her to a corner and raped. The boy was caught after the girl’s screams were heard,” Station House Officer Magam Muhammad Aslam told Greater Kashmir.
“After 15 days he would be sent to Central Jail,” Aslam said.
