Omar,Mehbooba wish people on Shab-e-Baraat
Srinagar, July 5: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has extended his best wishes to the people on Shab-e-Baraat describing it holy occasion to seek forgiveness from Allah and pray for peace, prosperity and well-being of the humanity.
Omar said that this holy night of prayers provides us an opportunity to pray for Almighty’s blessings and vow to be just, compassionate, noble, pious, dutiful and pubic-friendly. Omar expressed hope that Shab-e-Baraat would be harbinger of peace and development in the state
Meanwhile, Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti and party general secretary Muhammad Dilawar Mir greeted people on the pious day of Shab-e-Barat.
The leaders also prayed for peace, tranquility and mutual brotherhood in the state.
