Too long
This refers to the announcement by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah that the gutted shrine of Dastgeer Sahab would be reconstructed within within 24 months. It is indeed very sad that the authorities have decided to take so long to reconstruct the shrine. Restoration of the shrine should be an immediate priority of the government given the prevailing circumstances in the Valley. Two years for rebuilding the shrine is a long time. Even big construction projects do not require such a long time.
