FCC Reds crush FCC Hawal
SDA DRABU CRICKET TOURNAMENT
Srinagar, July 6: In ongoing SDA Drabu T20 Cricket Tournament organised by J&K Cricket Players association, two matches were played at TRC ground here on Friday.
In the first match, FCC Reds crushed FCC Blues Hawal by 162 runs. Batting first, FCC Reds amassed total of 254 for the loss of five wickets. Naseer with 148 runs and Sameer with 132 were highest scorer for them while Sajad took two wickets for FCC Blues.
In reply, FCC Blues Hawal were bundled out for 92 runs only. Basharat with 30 was highest scorer for them while Showkat and Saleem took two wickets each for Reds.
In the second match, RCC Blues defeated PCC Pattan by 14 runs. Batting first, RCC Blues scored 192 for the loss of five wickets. Tariq with 68, Mohsin with 43 and Hashim with 40 were highest scorers for them while as Mushtaq took two wickets for PCC.
In reply, PCC Pattan were able to score only 182 runs only. Samiullah with 48 and Altaf with 24 were highest scorers for them while as Mudasir took three and Hashim took four wickets for RCC.
Earlier two matches wee played on Thursday. In the first match, FCC blues defeated SFD Reds by 21 runs. Batting first, FCC Blues scored 149 for the loss of nine wickets in allotted 20 overs. Basit with 30 and Shakeel with 23 were highest scorers for them while as Asif and Adil took two wickets each for for SFD.
In reply SFD Reds were able to score only 128 for the loss of eight wickets in allotted overs. Adil with 25 and Umer with 24 were highest scorers for them while Shabir took four wickets for FCC.
In the second match, BSC Bijbehara defeated Kulgam Lions by four wickets. Batting first Lions were bundled out for 125 runs. Imtiyaz with 50 and Waseem with 21 were highest scorers for them while Sameer took three wickets for BSC.
In reply, BSC achieved required target for the loss of six wickets. Mohsin with 33 and Ulfat with 29 were highest scorers for them while as Rameez and Tahir took two wickets each for Lions.
