Rainawari Lions enter semis
COMMON CAUSE TRUST T-20 CRICKET TOURNEY
Srinagar, July 6:Rainawari Lions cricket team has stormed into the finals of Common Cause Trust T-20 Cricket Tournament by defeating Kashmir Royals in the interesting semi-final match played here on Friday.
Kashmir Royals won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 145 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. The Rainawari Lions cricket team achieved the winning target in 19.3 overs while losing six wickets in the process. For the winners, Imtiyaz Ahmad emerged as the star as he scored 60 runs of just 34 balls.
Imtiyaz was declared the man of the match. The man of the match was given away by Waseem Nehvi of novelty stores, the sponsors of the tournament. The second semi-final would be played between Ford City Cricket Club, Nowhatta and Blue Star Cricket Club, Khankahi Moulla.
