Blue Star to clash with Rainawari Lions in final
COMMON CAUSE T-20 CRICKET TOURNAMENT
Srinagar, July 8: Blue Star Cricket Club (BSCC) Khankah Moulla on Sunday entered into the finals of Common Cause T-20 cricket tournament where they will meet Rainawari Lions.
In the second semi-final played at Rainawari Cricket Stadium, Blue Star won the toss and asked Ford City Cricket Club, Nowhatta to bat first. The Ford Cricket Club team was all out for 106 runs in 19.4 overs. For the Blue Star Cricket Club, Rafiq Ahmad was the main wicket taker as he claimed four wickets while giving away 28 runs in his four overs.
The Blue Star Cricket Club achieved the winning target of 107 runs in 9.3 overs while losing one wicket in the process. For the winning team Sajad Ahmad scored a breezy knock of 53 runs in 27 balls. For his brilliant bowling, Rafiq Ahmad was declared man of the match. He was given man of the match award by SP North Tahir Saleem.
