CONG MP CRITICIZES GOVT
Central schemes not being implemented: Madan Lal

RAJOURI, JULY 8: A Member Parliament from Congress today came out openly against the coalition government in the state for its alleged failure to implement the central sponsored schemes in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The central sponsored schemes are not being implemented properly in Jammu and Kashmir as a result of which huge amount goes unspent”, Congress MP Madan Lal Sharma, told media persons on the sidelines of a function here today.
Sharma said that the centre has been issuing warning to the state for its repeated violation of the codel formalities. “State authorities are have not only failed to implement the schemes in the state but were not even filing the requisite Utilization Certificates in time”, the MP claimed.
“Due to the non-adoption of the proper procedure the state agencies are continuously coming under criticism from the union ministries”, he claimed further.
Replying to a query, Sharma said that there was no rift in Congress and all the leaders were working unitedly in the state.
