Eco-friendly rallies at schools conclude

SRINAGAR, June 9: In connection with World Environmental Day, students of various schools falling under education cluster Bemina took out rally from Govt Girls Middle School Bemina to their respective schools to make the general public aware about the deteriorating environment.
 Speaking on the occasion, headmistress of Govt Middle School Bemina, Tabassum Kausar, stressed the need for sensitizing people towards preserving environment.
 Earlier in the morning, about 200 students belonging to eight government schools – Govt Middle Girls School Bemina, Govt Middle School (GMS) Koolipora, GMS Sepdan, GMS Galwanpora, Mixed Primary School Bemina, Primary School (PS) Dandoosa, PS Hamdania Colony, and PS Dargund  - assembled at Govt Girls Middle School Bemina for the rally.
 Meanwhile the environment week celebrations at Girls Higher Secondary School Chanapora concluded Saturday with an eco-friendly rally.
