Lolpora residents hail Divisional Commissioner

Srinagar, June 9: The residents of Lolpora Tangmarg have hailed the Divisional Commissioner, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon for promptly responding to an SMS about illegal land excavation from the highlands by some persons.
The residents said the land excavation work had been going on quite often adding that no heed was being paid towards the issue.
“But today when we messaged the grievance to Divisional Commissioner, the excavation was stopped forthwith,” the residents said and urged Dr Samoon to direct police and civil administration to remain vigilant over the issue in future.
