Telecom policy
The Government of India claims Jammu and Kashmir to be the ‘integral part of India’, but at the same time they discriminate against the 'peace loving people' of Jammu and Kashmir. The 'one-nation-one-number' policy, applicable throughout India, will not be applicable to Jammu and Kashmir, which shows how the people of Jammu and Kashmir are treated by the central government. Meanwhile, the ban on SMS service in the valley continues. Omar Abdullah should take these matters up with the central government. Lift the ban on SMS and include J&K in the new telecom policy. Let the people live in a free and peaceful atmosphere.
