‘Complete construction of quarters for KP employees’
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, June 11: The construction work on 60 quarters to be constructed for Kashmiri Pandit employees at Nutnussa in Kupwara is incomplete for the past two years.
The aggrieved KP employees said the quarters were to be constructed under the Prime Minister’s package. “The work on the quarters started in 2009-2010 but sees no end,” they said. “This is total negligence of the concerned authorities which must be looked into.”
The employees said 60 quarters are “less to accommodate over 190 KP employees.” “We have to spend huge amount on rented accommodations,” they said. “We request the chief Minister Omar Abdullah to personally monitor the work and ensure its early completion.”
