Arun Lal interacts with U-14 cricketers

Srinagar, June 13: It was a memorable occasion for the young under 14 cricketers from Down town, Srinagar when they met former Indian cricketer, eminent commentator and sports writer Arun Lal. The interaction of the budding cricketers was organised under the aegis of Chinar Air Defence Brigade at Old Air Field Military Station on June 12.
 The internationally famed cricketer not only gave some valuable tips on the nuances of the game to the young kids but also provided coaching tips to the coaches who were accompanying the young cricketers.
 He cited various examples of sports persons who have achieved international fame through qualities like dedication, determination and devotion. He exhorted the nubile minds to work hard and think big to conquer invincible.
 Arun Lal who is currently in Srinagar for the inauguration of the Kashmir Premier League while addressing the young cricketers said that there is abundance of talent in the valley.
 Arun Lal answered a number of questions asked by the youngsters on technique, mental makeup and preparations. The interaction was followed by a group photograph and tea.
