DISASTER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM CONCLUDES

Srinagar, June 14: Civil Defence Organisation organised valedictory function of five days disaster preparedness training programme at Scholar’s Residential School at Dara on the City outskirts.
 “The programme was chaired by Director Youth Services and Sports Jaipal Singh. Others who attended the programme included Head Disaster Management and Dy Chief Warden CD Aamir Ali, Deputy Controller Civil Defence Muhammed Rafiq, Deputy Director YSS Neelofar Amin and Ashok Kumar, Chief Training Cum Scouts Muzaffar Trambu, Shabir Ahmed Khan ASI (M), Principal of the Institute Mir Munir and Nusrat Wani Physical Education Teacher,” a handout said.
 “Three students Mujtaba Rashid Zargar of Class 10th, Sajad Hussain Kargili Class 8th and Owais Nazir Class 8th read papers on Disaster preparedness, first aid and fire fighting which was highly appreciated by everyone and they were awarded with trophies,” it added.
