Precious gift
Our village Chandhara is historically important because it is the native place of the queen Habba Khatoon, and the best saffron is grown here. There is a spring in the middle of the village which was named as the spring of Habba Khatoon. During the early period of her life she made frequent visits to the spring, singing her poetry on the bank of this spring besides taking water from this spring to her home for daily use. It is also been reported that Hazrat Sultan-ul-Arifeen (R.A) has visited this spring several times. But it is very sad that this precious gift is in shambles now. Many times this matter was brought into the notice of authorities but nothing was done on ground. CM should look into matter and depute a team of experts to the spot so that they can help us to preserve this precious and noble gift of God.
