Will promote cultural activities in Kargil: Khalid Bashir
Kargil, June 14: Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Khalid Bashir Thursday said the Academy would promote cultural activities in Kargil in a big way.
He said the publication of Balti periodical, Nati Adab, would also be revived immediately. He also asked the Advisory Sub-Committee to make recommendations on the publication and cultural activities in the district.
Khalid Bashir was interacting here with prominent writers and artists. “The Academy would work in close contact with writers and experts in different art forms to promote rich cultural and literary heritage of the area,” he said.
