Indo-Pak bonhomie lacks substance: Inquilabi

Srinagar, June 15: Chief Patron of Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi on Friday said the prevailing bonhomie between India and Pakistan seems to be all talk and of no substance.
In a statement here Inqilabi said India and Pakistan are engaged in bilateral talks to improve their ties. “But the ground situation suggests something different. We hear news about armies of both the countries exchanging fire on LoC on daily basis.”
He said this proves that Kashmir is a nuclear flashpoint for India and Pakistan.
“Those who talk of cross border trade of onions and potatoes want to further procrastination and status-quo in Kashmir. This trade won’t solve Kashmir dispute,” he added.
Inqilabi said martyrs of 13 July 1931 gave the message of sacrifice and self respect to Kashmiri nation. “We remember their selfless sacrifices and pay tributes to them and observe strike on 13 July every year.” Similarly he said 13 August is an important date in the history of Kashmir. “On 13 August 1948 UN passed resolutions favouring Kashmiris right to self-determination.”
