Kargil Inter-Zone tournament concludes
Kargil, June 15: The Under-19 Inter-Zone Volleyball and Under-17 boys handball and basketball concluded at Indoor Stadium Kargil on Friday.
A grand ceremony was organized by the District Youth Service and Sports Department Kargil at Basket Ball Ring Indoor Stadium Kargil. On the this occasion the final of the Basketball was played between Jafaria Academy of Modern Education and Government Boys Higher Secondary School Kargil and was won by Government Boys Higher Secondary School Kargil by 2 points.
Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil, Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan was the chief guest of the occasion.
Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan appreciated the talent of the students and directed the Physical Teachers to focus on games which are easily approachable by the students in the future also and in which the students can excel.
The CEC expressed satisfaction on the preparation of the Basketball team of Kargil as the Inter District Basket Ball Tournament will be held in Kargil in the days to come and directed the District Youth Service and Sports Officer Kargil Haji Mirza Hussain to impart proper training to the Basketball team so that they can excel in the coming Tournament.
On this Occasion, the Chief Executive Councilor distributed prizes amongst the Teams and players and appreciated the role of the Physical Education Teachers.
In the Under-19 Volley Ball Jaffaria Academny of Modern Education Kargil was defeated by Boys Higher Secondary School Kargil in which 14 teams participated. In the Inter Zonal under 17 Volleyball Tournament, a total of 6 zone participated and was won by the Shargole Zone by Defeating Kargil Zone and in the Under 17 Handball Inter Zonal tournament Shargole Zone was defeated by Kargil Zone.
On this occasion the Councilor Tai Suru Syed Abass Razvi, Zonal Physical Education Officer Kargil Mohammad Hussain Rehnuma and Zonal Physical Education Officer.
