JK Bank restores SMS alert service on Airtel, Vodafone postpaid network

Srinagar, June 16: The J&K Bank today said it has restored the solicited SMS Alert Service on Airtel and Vodafone postpaid network from June 15. The bank said the Service is already being provided on BSNL and Aircel postpaid network.
“The activation of SMS alerts with respect to Credit Cards is at present available on postpaid network of Airtel and Vodafone,” it said.
“The service is not available to prepaid customers as per the government policy,” it said.
It said the Bank is in touch with BSNL and Aircel to restore the Credit card SMS alerts and “we have been assured of restoration within next few days.”
“We request our esteemed customers to bear with us for some time, as we are confident of some breakthrough in this regard at the earliest.”
