9 hurt in road mishaps
JAMMU: Atleast nine persons were wounded in two road accidents across Jammu city, police sources said on Sunday.
They said that six persons were injured in a head-on collision between a Santro car and Estilo coming from opposite direction in Nagrota area at around 2:00 PM.
The injured have been identified as Sunita (40) wife of Ramesh Singh and her son Sourav (14) both residents of Subash Nagar Jammu, Darshna Devi (43) wife of Parshotam Singh, her daughter Anu (23), Parshotam Singh son of Bhan Singh all residents of Kathua and Harsh (15) resident of Kathua.
In yet another accident atleast three persons were wounded when a matador in which they were traveling rolled down in Manda area, police sources said.
All the injured were shifted to GMC Jammu and have been identified as Rajinder Singh son of Swaran Singh resident of RS Pura, Poli Devi wife of Jeet Raj resident of Go Manasa and Thoru Ram son of Punu Ram resident of RS Pura.
