CCC Bhaderwah clinches trophy

8TH GUFRAN MEMORIAL T-20 CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIP

Doda, June 18: Combine Cricket Club Bhaderwah (CCCB) clinches the All India 8th Gufran Memorial T-20 cricket championship title defeating King Fisher Cricket Club Jammu (KFCCJ) by eight wickets at Sports Stadium here on Monday.
 Earlier batting first after winning the toss, King Fisher Cricket Club Jammu (KFCCJ) scored a total of 155 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. Rahul was the highest scorer from KFCCJ who scored 47 runs while Manish Dogra and Ajeet Pal scored 41 and 14 runs for the team. From CCC Bhaderwah, Vimarsh Kaw and Parveez Rasool Zargar shared 2 wickets each while Ram Dayal and Touqeer Malik shared one wicket each.
 In reply, Combine Cricket Club Bhaderwah (CCCB) brilliantly chase down the target in 15.1 overs for the loss of two wickets. Vimarsh Kaw was the highest scorer who played fine knock of 77 runs in 35 balls with the help of 4 six and 6 fours to the fence while Parveez Rasool and Adil Rashid contributed 49 and 22 runs for the team whereas from KFCC Jammu, Rohit and Raman shared one wicket each.
 Vimarsh Kaw of Combine Cricket Club Bhaderwah (CCCB) was adjudged as man of the match for his best all round performance.
 District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Farooq Ahmed Khan was the Chief Guest while Commanding Officer (CO) 10RR Col Vikram Singh Guleria was the guest of honour. Among others present were SSP Doda Muhammad Arif Rishu, Vice President J&K Bank North Jammu Muhammad Ibrahim Wani.
 Later Chief Guest DDC Doda Farooq Khan presented trophy and cash prize of Rs One Lac to the winning team whereas Commanding Officer (CO) 10RR Col Vikram Singh Guleria presented Rs 50,000 to the runner up team.
 The tournament was organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by J&K Bank, 10 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and KC Hyundai.
