Kargil girls shine, bag 14 medals

Srinagar, June 18: The girls from district Kargil performed brilliantly in the recently held Inter-District Taekwon-do championship by bagging 14 medals.
 In the event organised by Youth Services and Sports department Kashmir 14 girls represented Kargil. Out of those 14, 10 bagged gold while two silver and two bronze.
 The Executive Councillor for Agriculture and Revenue LAHDC Kargil Haji Ghulam Amir congratulated the players, the concerned teachers/instructors and their parents for the achievements and said that in Kargil focus in sports should be concentrated on those games which have better prospects for the players to groom like, Athletics, Boxing, Taekwondo, Archery etc.
