Private schools
This refers to the news story Greater Kashmir (10th June 2012) under the title “Deficient Private Schools face de-recognition”. Since M.S.Rather took over as Director School Education Kashmir, the common people, honest and hardworking Teachers, Civil Society, and Academicians were eagerly waiting for some corrective measures to set right the ailing system of School Education. Thank God Rather has sensed that the whole system is a contaminated lot. Now worthy Director has to work as physician and a surgeon at the same time. The department is on life support system. If corrective measures are not taken at this later stage, it will prove suicidal for the ten lakh twenty three thousand students enrolled in government and private Schools in Kashmir Division only.
